Air Pollution Monitoring Systems Environmental Technician, Canada
This position entails providing service and maintenance of advanced air pollution monitoring instrumentation systems, as well as customer training and technical support. The applicant will be exposed to a variety of different measurement technologies and must be comfortable working with electronics and calibration equipment. Prior experience working on gas analyzers and related air pollution monitoring instrumentation would be a very significant advantage. The ideal applicant will also have knowledge of data logging equipment and methods, along with wired and wireless communications media systems. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of gas analyzers and analytical instrumentation in both ambient and continuous emission monitoring systems at customer facilities or in the office. The successful applicant should have prior on-the-job training with at least two years years of experience as a field service technician or instrumentation technician, and/or demonstration of general electrical/mechanical competency, as well as precise record keeping skills. Air Monitoring System Technical Sales Representative, Western Canada
This position involves the marketing and sales of Air Monitoring systems within BC and Alberta. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing market exposure, soliciting and follow up of sales leads, generating new accounts, conducting face to face meetings and technical demonstrations in addition to other responsibilities. Travel will be mainly within western Canada but limited travel to other regions in North America may be necessary, including attending regional and/or national trade shows. Relevant qualifications include diploma or equivalent on-the-job training, with previous sales of air pollution monitoring equipment and proven success with new customer sales or customer growth. Prior CEMS industry experience would be a significant advantage. Applicants should be team-oriented, possess a sound level of computer literacy and MS Office applications including MS Word & Excel, have excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills and a friendly professional manner.
