American Ecotech offers both particulate and visibility monitoring solutions. Our particulate monitoring products can measure visibility, PM2.5, PM10, and total suspended particulates, including heavy metals in air such as lead (Pb) and specific air toxics. Our instrumentation is proven in many different environments over many years and our team are experts in the design, installation and maintenance of each unit. Our staff also are fully trained in the operation and maintenance of BAM real-time particulate monitors (please ask us for information). Aurora 1000 Single Wavelength Nephelometer

Aurora 3000 3 Wavelength Nephelometer (now available with backscatter!)

The Aurora 2000 Nephelometer is part of the new generation nephelometers using a single wavelength to measure particulate scattering. It uses a PM2.5 Size Selective Inlet (SSI) to sample PM2.5, which makes correlation studies more accurate. The Aurora 2000 is available in two configurations:

  • Configured with a PM2.5 Size Selective Inlet to sample PM2.5, ideal in areas with stable aerosol chemistry
  • Configured to communicate directly with a BAM 1020, providing 1 minute PM corrected data, ideal in areas with multiple areosol sources

Our newest Aurora 4000 Nephelometer is the only commercially available polar nephelometer in the world. It uses integrated nephelometry and polar nephelometry to provide a greater insight into light scattering. This unique feature makes the Aurora 4000 ideal for analysis of parameters involved in climate studies such as the particle phase function and also extremely relevant for general air quality studies, providing real-time indicators of changes in particle composition.

The Ecotech Microvol 1100 particulate sampler is a quiet, intelligent and extremely portable sampler for TSP, PM10 and PM2.5 particulate studies. Designed for both indoor air monitoring and outdoor air monitoring applications, this sampler is easily configured for off-grid applications with the features and flexibility to make this the first choice for many operators.





High Volume Air Samplers:

The Ecotech HVAS 3000 is the most advanced high volume sampler available with on-board, active volumetric flow control, internal data logging and the ability to attach and record data from external wind sensors.  Designed for long life, low maintenance and ease of operation, the Ecotech HVAS 3000 is ideal for Lead, TSP, PM10 and PM2.5 monitoring.

HiVol 3000 Particulate Sampler

Confirms to Appendix B to 40 CFR Part 50, "Reference Method for the Determination of Suspended Particulate Matter in the Atmosphere (High-Volume Method)" for TSP Lead Sampling (using gabled roof configuration).

US EPA approval as a reference method for PM10 particulate air monitoring (RFPS-0706-162).

MegaVol 3000 Dust Sampler

The MegaVol 3000 dust sampler is an ultra high volumedust sampler designed to sample dust, specifically heavy metals such as lead and radioactive particulates/dust.

The HVAS 3000 PUF and XAD Samplers provide a simple solution for organics sampling (air toxics and hydrocarbons) while incorporating all of the advanced features available in the standard HVAS3000.

Ecotech XAD Sampler

The XAD is designed for accurate measurement of hydrocarbons. It utilizes a sampling media of unique hydrophobic polyaromatic resin beads, which are then enclosed by the more typical polyurethane foam.
